01 Who we are
Egalla provides point-of-sale software for businesses in Pakistan through our Android app and website. In this policy, “we” means Egalla and “you” means the business owner, staff, or visitor using our services.
02 What we collect
Account details: your name, mobile number, business name, city and business type.
Business data you enter: products, prices, stock, sales, khata records, staff accounts and receipts.
Customer details you choose to store, such as a customer’s name and mobile number for khata or WhatsApp receipts.
Technical data: device model, app version, crash logs and approximate location (city level) to keep the app working well.
03 How we use it
To run the service — process sales, sync data across your phones, generate reports and send receipts or reminders you request.
To support you when you contact us, and to tell you about important changes to the service.
To improve Egalla using aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.
04 What we never do
We do not sell your business data or your customers’ data to anyone.
We do not message your customers except when you trigger it (for example, a WhatsApp receipt or khata reminder).
05 Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run Egalla (such as cloud hosting, SMS/WhatsApp delivery and payment processing), under agreements that keep it confidential — or when required by Pakistani law.
06 Storage & security
Data is encrypted in transit and backed up regularly. Access within Egalla is limited to staff who need it to support you. Owner PINs protect sensitive actions on your phones.
07 Your choices
You can view, correct or export your data to Excel at any time from the app. You can ask us to delete your account and data by contacting us; some records may be kept where the law requires.
08 Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we will notify you in the app or by WhatsApp before they take effect.
